Selling when the internet is down
The Windows till keeps selling without internet and sends everything up when the line comes back — you do not have to do anything.
Sales, receipts and stock all keep working. What needs the internet is the online shop, price checking against the national catalogue, and anything another branch needs to see.
This applies to the Windows till app. If you sell from a browser on a phone or tablet, a dropped line stops the sale — which is the main reason to install the till app on a computer.
If the till has not sent anything up for more than a day after the internet returned, tell us — that is a fault, not normal behaviour.
