Sell rice, dal and other loose goods

Set the product to sell by weight, and the counter takes the weight from the scale instead of asking for a quantity.

  1. 1Open the product and set its unit to kilogram or gram.
  2. 2Set the price per kilogram rather than per packet.
  3. 3At the counter, put the goods on the scale and press the product. The weight comes across by itself if the scale is connected.

A label-printing scale works differently and better: it prints a barcode containing the weight, and scanning that one label rings the item up with its weight and price already in it.
