Close the day and count the cash

Count what is in the drawer, enter it, and PoedApp tells you whether the till is over, short or exactly right — and by how much.

  1. 1Open Day close at the end of trading.
  2. 2Count the notes and coins actually in the drawer and type the total.
  3. 3PoedApp compares it with what the sales say should be there and shows the difference.
  4. 4Write a short note if there is a difference — a supplier paid in cash, a float taken out — and close the day.

Cash on delivery collected during the day and money taken by card, bKash, Nagad or Bangla QR are counted separately, so a difference in the drawer points at cash alone rather than at everything at once.
