Compare against a competitor

There are three different things here, and they unlock at different points.

• Category share — your share of each category you sell in, with the rest of the category as one lump. No rival is named and none can be worked out. Growth plan and above.
• Your rank — where you stand among the brands in a category, by division, and how it moved. The others are counted, not named. Growth plan and above.
• A named competitor — a specific rival brand, granted by PoedApp for a fixed period, readable at month and division. Competitive plan and above.

A granted competitor is never readable at product level through their brand view — but the product benchmark puts one of their SKUs beside one of yours, which is the comparison a product manager actually wants.

Grants run for a fixed period and stop at its end. A grant that outlives the plan it was bought under stops working too — ask PoedApp to arrange or extend one.
